CAMPFIRE CONVERSATIONS

Numurkah Primary School invites you and your community to attend our Campfire Conversation to discuss Self-Determination in Koori education. Our intention for this event is to create a safe space of deep listening and learning. This discussion will focus on defining Self-Determination for Koori students, gathering feedback on how we can help Young First Nation people achieve their best, and creating goals for our school to move towards self-determination. The voices and opinions of those in attendance will be collected and shared with the Department of Education to inform future Reforms. Positive Start School Camps

Students from our school are eligible for free holiday camps with the Positive Start program. Positive Start holiday camps will run in the 2022 school holidays. Parents can apply for these camps online. Our school code is PSHC2022.

This is our last week of school and we conclude the term with an assembly on Friday at 9.15 am in the Junior BER building. Parents and carers are welcome to attend. School will finish at 2.20 pm. I hope that everyone enjoys the winter break and we look forward to seeing the children at the start of next term.
