Idahobit

Tuesday our community celebrated IDAHOBIT (International day against homophobia, biphobia, interphobia and transphobia) with rainbow colours, activities led by the Kingston Youth Services and strong community support.

MGSC is a supporter and an ally of the LGBTIQ community and we do not stand for any discrimination and/or bullying towards our students.

Thanks so much to all those students who support their friends and get involved

Body Kind

This September support young people’s body image by joining Butterfly’s annual free schools awareness initiative, Body Kind Schools. Finding ways to like, accept, love or even feel positive about your body can be challenging but we can all try to be a little kinder.

Kingston Youth Awards

Nominations have opened for the annual Kingston Youth Awards

The Kingston Youth Awards provides a great opportunity for young people 12 to 25 years with a connection to the City of Kingston (live, work, study) to be recognised, acknowledged and celebrated for their contributions to the community.

This year’s Youth Awards will form a part of the state-wide youth-focused month long Youth Fest celebration throughout September. If you know of a young person / young people who you would like to formally and publicly acknowledge and celebrate for their efforts, nominate them now.
