RESPECT

“Always be kind"... in all ways – an integral part of the Huntingtower fabric. One of the many, varied threads which make up that fabric, is “Respect”. If we are being kind, that kindness goes hand-in-glove with being respectful.

Here are a few thoughts to ponder:

"Respect your fellow human being, treat them fairly, disagree with them honestly, enjoy their friendship, explore your thoughts about one another candidly, work together for a common goal and help one another achieve it." - Bill Bradley

"Respect is an attitude of honouring oneself and others and caring about their rights. Acting respectfully gives people the dignity they deserve." - The Virtues Project

The Bible:  Proverbs 5: 1-2

"...if you listen closely to My wisdom and good sense, you will have sound judgment, and you will always know the right thing to say."

Science & Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy: p.4:3–5

"What we most need is the prayer of fervent desire for growth in grace, expressed in patience, meekness, love, and good deeds."
