Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser

We are very excited to announce that we have been offered the opportunity to hold a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at Scoresby Bunnings on Saturday 16th July. This is a highly sought-after event and will be an amazing opportunity for our school to raise funds to contribute towards Scoresby Primary School’s 150-year celebration in November.

Donations Required

We are asking our school community to assist with donations of the following for our BBQ:

· Sausages

· Sliced bread

· Onions (chopped and frozen)

· Plain white napkins

· Condiments (tomato sauce, mustard & BBQ sauce)

· Drinks (Coke, Solo, Fanta)

· Garbage bags

· Multi-purpose plastic gloves

· Aluminium trays

If you know of a company/organisation that would be willing to donate any of the above items/vouchers, please speak to either Miss Dinakis or the school office by Friday 17th June.

If anyone lives near a butcher, bakery, or local shopping centre, please let us know as we also have some donation request forms to hand out to businesses.

Can You Volunteer?

We are requesting community help on the day to cook sausages and serve customers. If you or a family member are able to assist in one of the following 2-hour blocks, it would be appreciated:  8.00-10.00am / 10.00am-12.00pm / 12.00-2.00pm / 2.00-4.30pm.

We are hoping to have 4-5 people for each shift. Please be aware you will be committed to stay for the whole 2 hours (or 2½ at the end of the day), and that children are not able to attend with you.

If you are able to volunteer, please use the form attached (via button below) to mark down all the times that you are available to help and return this form to your child’s teacher. We will send out confirmation of times next term.
