Canons 'loaded and firing' 

OUR Year 8/9 Boys AFL team has contested three games so far this season - and three wins!  Some of our opposition have been hit by illness - as have we - but there is a lot more depth in our playing stocks this year.

The lads have played with great spirit and have been capably led by a group of Year 9s including James Free (Freeza), Aiden Quelch (Silk) and Brayden Catalano (Cat). Throw in Mazz, Hewy, Shep, Jazza, Hards and Mitch and the Canons have been loaded and firing!

The Year 8s have some shining stars - in particular, Connor, Darcy and Chad - but all the players have contributed and are displaying the right team ethos.

Assistant Coach Mr Di Labio has been a positive influence and it has been great to see loyal spectators coming down to the games at 4pm on a Thursday afternoon. We are looking forward to some more great entertainment as the season goes on.
