Climate Canons

Regenerating Australia

Students meet documentary makers

WHAT would Australia look like in 2030 if we simply listened to the needs of its people? This is the question actor and director Damon Gameau (pictured above) asks us in his film Regenerating Australia, a story following on from his 2040 documentary.

Members of the Climate Canons, along with Mrs Bunyan and Mrs Kremer, attended the film premier on Wednesday, 18 May at Luna Palace Cinemas, Fremantle. Here, the students had an opportunity to engage in a Q&A with members of the production team and ask some hard hitting questions to the panel.

The Climate Canons were outstanding representatives of the College and impressed the wider audience. The Climate Canons hope to share with the College community the optimistic messages of the film and continue fighting the good fight towards sustainability.
