EARLIER today, almost 60 St Norbert College runners competed in the 2022 ACC Cross Country Carnival in Aldersbury Reserve, Floreat.
Featuring athletes from Catholic schools across Perth - including as far away as Geraldton and Bunbury - the carnival was a huge success despite a cold and drizzly start.
The St Norbert College team of runners from all year groups showed great spirit in cheering each other on. Over the course of the day, St Norbert had 17 Top 100 placings.
Highlights included an excellent third-place finish by Year 9 student Jacob Andrews who was presented with his medal on the podium watched by his dad, Michael, and College Principal, Mr Harvey. Another outstanding result was Year 8 Connor O'Byrne's fifth place finish. Congratulations to all participants and thanks to our helpers on the day.
