Thank you also to our pencillers Maddi Lowe and Angela Hodgetts. A very big thank you to our judges Mrs Jan Smith and Mrs Lynne Roycroft who brought an experienced and outstanding level of judging to our competition.
If you perhaps missed the beautiful post our Equestrian Captain Georgia Hodgetts wrote on our Hamilton College Equestrian Facebook page, I thought I would include it in the newsletter this week. Congratulations to both Georgia Hodgetts and Gabby Officer for their outstanding effort participating in the recent National Equestrian Interschool Championships in Toowoomba QLD!
“This last week Gabby Officer and myself along with our families had a long haul up north for the Toowoomba National Interschool Championships. Despite the heat wave, we had a fantastic week on such beautiful grounds. Gabby had a great start to the week being titled with Reserve Champion in the working hunter. Then in the Combined Training she placed 5th and 6th. Gabby did an absolutely outstanding job to gain these. As for myself unfortunately Melli and I were not that successful. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the running of this event and most importantly thank you to our parents, Anna Officer & Angela Hodgetts ”
