Athletics Carnival

On Friday, 14 August, the College held our annual Interhouse Athletics Carnival at Ern Clark Athletics Centre. After a very wet start to the day, we were able to enjoy kinder conditions. Congratulations to all students for their participation and enthusiasm. The level of House spirit on display throughout the day was fantastic. Whether it was cheering in the straight or participating in novelty events or the traditional track and field events it was excellent atmosphere to be a part of.

Congratulations to Xanten who took out the Spirit Bear in the novelty games format which saw each year group participate in a range of events against the other Houses.

ACC Challenge

The College will provide opportunities to students to challenge for an ACC event. This will occur on Tuesday, 1 September from 3:30-4:30pm. Students who were unable to participate in a particular event on the day, or those students who were sick/injured, you may want to take to opportunity ‘challenge’ for an event at the respective athletic training sessions. If none of the following apply to you however you feel you have a valid reason for challenging an event then please speak to Mr Godfrey and the decision will be made at his discretion.

State Basketball League

Over the past few weeks the State Basketball League has some of our very own Specialised Basketball students. The State Basketball League is the premier WA basketball competition and provides a pathway from WABL to USA Colleges or the WNBL or NBL pathways.
