Camp Week

This week our Middle and Senior School students participated in a virtual ‘Camp Week’. Many students set up tents and had a camp fire in their back yards, students ate dinner with their class and all learning on the remote learning website related to camp. See some photos below for the all the excitement.

Many of our students have celebrated birthdays during Remote Learning 2.0.  If your child had their birthday over the holidays or during remote learning they are welcome to wear free dress to school on Monday.

Events Coming Up Over the Next Fortnight

Prep Fairy Tale Ball

Our prep students celebrated their Fairy Tale ball virtually during remote learning but there is nothing quite like getting dressed up and celebrating in real life with your friends! They will celebrate this occasion on Friday the 16th of October.

Book Week – Curious Creatures and Wild Minds October 17 – 23rd

Classes will be reading a number of the CBCA shortlisted books during the week of

October 17 - 23 and participating in activities that celebrate a love of READING!

Book Week Dress Up – Wednesday 21st October

Students can come dressed up as a character from their favourite book OR come dressed in something that supports this year's theme 'Curious Creatures, Wild Minds' - you can be creative with your outfits!

NOTE: The costume doesn't have to be anything expensive or fancy - given the

circumstances and the current shopping conditions, homemade or reusing your

outfits is strongly encouraged!

Footy Colours Day – Thursday 22nd October

To celebrate the Footy Finals, the Canteen is offering a special Footy Day Luncheon on Thursday October 22nd - Preps & Juniors at recess, Middle & Senior at lunchtime. Don't miss out!   Visit Flexischools or fill in the attached order form and return by Friday, October 16th.

Students can wear their footy colours to school on this day.
