Out and About the School
Uniform Matters
Sometimes children in their winter uniform can look a bit bedraggled due to energetic playing. Shirts out during play is fine, we understand this. However some children are coming to school looking like they just got out of bed. Ties are not optional! Please make sure your child wears their tie and wears it correctly.
One of our school rules says;
Please get on board with this if you haven’t been lately. We are proud of our school and our students and pride in appearance is something we encourage.
School TV Launch
It’s never been more challenging for parents to raise happy, healthy and resilient children. Like never before, parents need to be informed with clear, fact-based information on the many challenges faced by today’s youth. Topics such as youth anxiety, depression, self-harm, drug and alcohol use, cyberbullying and many others need clear explanation and guidance.
SchoolTV is a new ongoing resource that is now available to our parents. Each edition will address a major topic with expert interviews, fact sheets, parent quiz, recommended apps, books and much more. SchoolTV aggregates information from many great resources such as BeyondBlue and ReachOut, amongst others.
SchoolTV provides a single stream of independent factual information that saves parents time and confusion of searching online across multiple sites for information.You can access the SchoolTV archive here: https://stxaviersgunnedah.catholic.schooltv.me/category-latest-newsletter

Just a reminder that Term 3 school fees are by 31 August. Please contact Jeni Muller either by phone or email if you have any concerns. jmuller4@arm.catholic.edu.au
Kindergarten 2021
We have almost finalised our enrolments for Kinder 2021. If you are a current family and are yet to enrol your child, you need to do this ASAP. Please do not assume we know your younger child is ready to start school. It makes it very difficult to plan student numbers when we receive late enrolments.
