Important Notices

Leaving Students

The start of Term 4 means we are looking ahead and making plans, appointing staff and setting budgets for the following year.

So we can plan with confidence it is really important that we have an accurate picture of student numbers for 2021.

If you have a child in year levels F-5 who will be leaving us at the end of the school year, can you please let us know as soon as possible.

Parent Requests

As we plan ahead for 2021, class teachers are also starting the process of creating class groupings for next year. In doing this, our staff work very hard to create a perfect balance of gender, personalities and strengths within each class to allow for the best possible learning to take place.

Later in the term students will be asked to select friends who they would like to be in a class with next year and our teachers always do their best to ensure at least one of these choices are placed with them.

Occasionally parents have requests for class placements for the following year. Whilst we are unable to accept requests for a particular teacher, we are happy to try and accommodate reasonable requests. If you have a request, please email me at neil.scott@education.vic.gov.au

Sun Smart

As we are now in Term 4, our Sun Smart policy states that all students must remember to bring a wide brimmed hat into school each day to wear during break times and outdoor learning.

Suitable wide-brimmed hats are available to buy from the school office - due to our current COVID restrictions we ask that you send your child with the correct money ($10) or call the office and make payment over the phone.

We also recommened that all students wear a high-SPF sunscreen to school throughout Term 4 and keep a supply in their bag to reapply prior to playing outdoors.
