Year 2

Thrilling Thursday

It certainly was a Thrilling Thursday for the Year 2 cohort last week when they put their normal schedule to the side to have a bit of fun with various activities and exercises. 

There were Roll Call races and insect quizzes as students from 2A joined 2B and 2C joined 2D. Students were given a matrix of fun activities, as well as taking part in memory games, cartoon drawing techniques, listening exercises and scavenger hunts around their home for everything from a handbag to a butterfly.

There was laughing and crying (tears of joy and possibly because of messy kitchens) but students made cubby houses, built towers, cooked muffins and cookies and explored outside. 

Well done all of Year 2 for such enthusiasm with your learning so far this term and with your Thrilling Thursday activities. Thrilling Thursday will be coming to screen near you in year 2 this week on, you guessed it – Thursday!
