STUDENTS' REMOTE LEARNING
Above is a selection of photos that students have sent to their teachers of their remote learning. It is great to see the students working so hard whilst at home.
There is a mixture of work and PE amongst the photos.
PRIMARY ART
J. Atkinson
Students have been doing Art at home with Mrs A. The aim of Art during remote learning is to make use of resources which we might have at home. We have made paint and glue, and used nature and things we have in our house.
Some Awesome Art has been created by our students.
A magnificent effort by those who have participated.
5/6 LITERACY PROJECT PICTURES
PREP/1 HOME LEARNING
T. Rivett
The Prep and Grade Ones have been doing an amazing job learning from home. In maths they have been learning about shapes. They have also been writing. Here are some pictures of the work some students have been doing.
2/3 STEM LEARNING
M. Downes
Over the past 3 weeks students have been involved in STEM tasks where they have created and engineered different constructions. We have had boats that stay afloat, the tallest tower and even stable bridges. Students used different materials to create their boats, towers and bridges.
2/3 EXPLORING PATTERNS
S. Gardiner
Over the past weeks Grade 2 and 3 students have been exploring various patterns in their home and in the community. As part of their learning they challenged themselves to create repeating patterns with different attributes including like size, shape, colour, direction and position. The students were also able to view a fabulous fashion parade by their teachers and tasked with creating an interesting new tessellating pattern design for a new fabric for this year’s clothing collection. The students certainly created lots of interesting patterns!
