Careers Report May

With students returning to School over the next few weeks, VET classes in Horsham and Longerenong will probably resume on June 3. On line VET courses will continue until June.There will be more updated information regarding starting dates through XUNO and the College Facebook page. 

 

Work Placements can resume in June when Employers are prepared to have students on site. Please note: New contracts will have to be signed before any placements begin. That includes students returning to previous Employers. Students interested in Work placements starting in June are asked to contact me via email or XUNO.

GAP Year-Australian Defence Force

Australian Defence Force - Gap Year Program The Australian Defence Force Gap Year program provides an opportunity for young Australians who have finished Year 12 to experience military training and lifestyle whilst gaining new skills and pay over their Gap Year in the Army, Navy or Air Force. You will earn more than $45,000, have subsidised accommodation and full medical and dental coverage.

Changes to open days

Each year universities, TAFEs and private institutes open their doors to prospective students and their families. This year, many institutes will now be running their open days online. Dates will be released over the next month.
