The last two weeks have been the final weeks of online learning  for Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2 students.

From Tuesday May 26, the green and yellow classrooms will once again be alive with the sounds of students! Edenhope College Primary teachers look forward to welcoming back the students and are just as excited as they are about getting back to school and catching up with each other.  The Year 1 & 2s are particularly looking forward to getting back to meet their new teacher Miss Nicky in person, and hopefully be able to say a proper goodbye to Mrs Close before her baby arrives.

Students in Years 3- 6 will continue to learn from home for a couple more weeks, returning to school on June 9. Keep up the fantastic work guys, Miss Pearson & Mr Irvin continue to be super impressed by your learning efforts at home!

Year 5/6

It has been a very interesting time in ISO for the students in 5/6. All the students are really missing the social interaction and the Friday afternoon Webex chats are great but just not enough for some.

We have been very lucky to have amazing activities to complete in Art from Ms. Brennan and Steam from Mr Iqbal to keep them engaged. Mrs H is enthralling us with her readings and activities for Novel Study ‘A Banner Bold’ and there are some fantastic stories still being written from the Pobble 365 writing tasks.

With the staff returning on-site next week we will be trying to do more Webex chats in the afternoons to keep in contact more often as we get set for all of us to return on June 9. Despite the isolation many students are keeping their spirits up with interactions on the comments sections and helping their parents around the house.

A huge thank you to ALL parents who are probably learning more than their children at times! In two weeks it might be as emotional as Day 1 in Foundation as you say goodbye to your children as they head off to school. But the emotions might be for different reasons?
