Chapel Mass - 23 June

A reminder that our first Chapel Mass will take place next Tuesday, 23 June.  Unfortunately due to Government restrictions no visitors to the College are currently allowed, therefore members of the OLD and Mercy communities cannot attend. Mr Kovacic’s Year 9 Religion class will be hosting our Mass and given the civil unrest that has been present in our community, along with the recognition of Refugee Week, we have plenty of needs to place before the altar.

Winter Appeal Update

Thank you for your generous support of the St Vincent de Paul / JRS Winter appeal thus far. We have had a strong start to the drive, with a large variety of food items, and clothing donated. A team of Year 9 volunteers have done a great job in collecting and classifying donations for the past two weeks.

While all donations are welcomed and appreciated, we are still looking for more donations of blankets and clothing to donate to St Vincent de Paul.

Reconciliation Action Plan

Earlier this week, the College received confirmation that our Reconciliation Action Plan has been accepted by Reconciliation Australia. This is a major step in the recognition of the College’s efforts in promoting Reconciliation within the College Community and student body.

Refugee Week

In commemoration of Refugee Week, the Edmund Rice Society have created quotes regarding, and messages of support for, refugees. These messages will continue to be presented to the student body through our digital display outside of A Wing.
