A note from Mr Jackson

PA Installed In The Chandler Hall

A special thanks to our terrific contributors to our Building Fund. This tax free fund provides the school with an opportunity to upgrade our facilities in ways that could not be otherwise achieved. Recently the fund was used to contribute to the cost of the Bike Shed! This week it enabled us to purchase and install a sound system in the Chandler Hall. We look forward to hearing it in action at possible assemblies, TheirCare, Year 6 Graduation and or the Instrumentalists’ Soiree! Thanks to all who have contributed!

Dates for 2023

A draft set of dates have been released for 2023. Please carefully note the start of the year dates. These were approved at School Council on Monday night and should help provide some clarity around the year ahead.

TheirCare Days

I have received confirmation that TheirCare’s Holiday Program will be running at the end of term on Tuesday 20 December, Wednesday 21 December and Thursday 22 December, 2022. Please contact TheirCare to register the attendance of your child.

Parent Payments

We are fortunate to live in a supportive learning community. This week we will be sending home notes regarding our parent payment information. While we have not raised our parent payments for a number of years, with increasing costs, School Council have confirmed that the contribution be raised to $290. Please let Kim or myself know if you need support or have any questions about our Parent Payment Policy. The information can be found on our website here

Volunteer Morning Tea

A reminder to let us know if you are coming to the Volunteers Morning Tea on next Wednesday 30 November. All our volunteers are welcome to join us. While we sent out invitations last week, we are always worried that we would have forgotten someone!! This is a general invitation for all who have contributed as volunteers to gather. Teachers are eager to provide a chance to say thank you.

Election Sausages

While some would speak about the significance of democracy and the privilege of voting on Saturday, many others speak of the sausage they will consume, the plant they might purchase or the cake they might buy! Please think about joining the team of volunteers to ensure the day goes ahead smoothly.

Uniform Swap Friday!!

For those who are eager to upsize uniforms for their growing children, please don't miss out on the giant uniform swap this Friday.  Dive into our newsletter to find out more!!
