2023 Instrumental Music Lessons

2023 has started off with a BANG!

We have been well and truly inundated with enrolment requests this year. It's so great to see so many excited and enthusiastic learners here at GRPS.

All enrolment forms have now been processed and lessons begin next week (week beginning Monday 13th February).

The instrumental teachers will be getting in touch to confirm your child's place in the program and to let you know the lesson days and times.

This year our Instrumental Music team consists of:

Kellie Woollard - Woodwind (Thursday)
Andrew Beveridge - Guitar (Monday 1/2, Tuesday/Wednesday)
Hyun Lee – Piano (Wednesday)
Laura Martin - Singing (Thursday)
Carmen Robertson – Trumpet/Trombone/Keyboard (Monday)
Harrison Kolevich - Drums (Friday)
Nhan Nguyen - Piano (Friday)
Samuel Ke - Violin (Wednesday)
Kate Hill - Piano (Tuesday)

Instrumental music parents will also receive an email in the next few days, inviting them to view a 'Google Drive/Sheet', called the 'Instrumental Parent's Portal'. This will be an online space, where timetables will be published, so you can be aware of your child's lesson times and any changes that occur due to school activities. We hope to eventually add a communication board for each family, so parents, teachers and children can update each other and leave messages, outline learning tasks etc. More details to come......

In 2023, we are offering FREE instrument hire for selected instruments:

FLUTES
TRUMPETS
TROMBONES
EUPHONIUM
CLARINETS
SAXOPHONES

We only have a limited number of these instruments, and instruments will be allocated in the order that enrolment forms for lessons are received. It's a great way of allowing your child to experience the gift of music without having to outlay hundreds or thousands of dollars for the instrument.
