Welcome to 2023 Library

The classroom teachers and children are happily enjoying the Library space; quietly reading and choosing books to borrow and take home; and also for the classroom for quiet reading.

LIBRARY BAGS

Library bags are encouraged so the children can safely and responsibly look after the books on the journey to the classroom, home and back again to the library.

LIBRARY BORROWING

Listed below are the number of books for each grade level and the duration of the loan.

FOUNDATION                    2 BOOKS       for      2 WEEKS

GRADES 1 & 2                     2 BOOKS       for      2 WEEKS

GRADES 3 & 4                     3 BOOKS       for      2 WEEKS

GRADES 5 & 6                     3 BOOKS       for      2 WEEKS

LIBRARY LUNCHTIME CLUBS

MONDAY – Quiet Reading for Grades 1 &2

TUESDAY – Quiet Reading for Foundation

WEDNESDAY – Chess for up to 10 children

THURSDAY – Quiet Reading for Grades 5 & 6

FRIDAY – Quiet Reading for Grades 3 & 4

BOOK CLUB NEWS

News FLASH…..Book Club Issue 1 has arrived and the format has changed!

Enjoy reading your Book Club News Paper….check out the books, do the puzzles and answer the questionnaires. The Scholastic Book Club News can also be recycled and reused….great for sustainability.

Book Club Issue 1 orders need to be placed online via LOOP by FRIDAY 17TH February at 4pm.

and Create an account to begin ordering.

 In ISSUE 1, if you spend over $30 you can select 1 Free Book, spend over $50 select 2 Free Books and spend over $70 select 3 Free Books.
