Wellbeing
Hi Hillsmeade Families!
Todd and Rana are excited to be providing a range of supports available to students, staff and families this year. They will be focusing on the following:
- Whole school events and celebrations to acknowledge and raise awareness of key wellbeing matters (stay tuned to this page of the newsletter to see what is coming up as the term progresses)
- Small group work opportunities that target particular needs and interests
- Whole year level group work and presentations on social and emotional learning
- Koori Club- focusing on strengthening the connection and positive identity between our Hillsmeade Koori students, as well as whole school cultural connection through Indigenous values, information, performances and significant dates
- Community connections- Local connections with the City of Casey 360 Bus, Le Mana Pasifika, local shops and secondary schools with the aim to support students and families to feel safe, connected and valued in community
- Referrals to external supports and organisations to further support the needs of our students and their families, including links to counselling and family services.
If you have any questions or concerns or would like to know where you can access further supports for your child, please feel free to contact either Todd or Rana from Wellbeing.
