2022 Christmas Lunch

On Friday 2 December, we had a Christmas Lunch to celebrate the end of the year. We listened to one of our favourite Christmas carols, Silent Night, and played with crackers, with a lot of surprising special gifts. Thank you to our school Assistant Principal Ms Tracey Bastin for joining us and in particular to Ms Rachael Stone, our new College Assistant Principal, who came down to greet our students.

We ended our lunch by singing "Happy Birthday' to Naoto, who is turning 16 years old. We are so pleased that Naoto has finally reunited with his mother and younger sister here in Melbourne. Naoto is pictured with his family outside the Melbourne Town Hall.

Homestay family

Homestay hosts and families play a very important role for the school community. We appreciate all your support and care for our international students. You are the special home for our international students in Australia.

Farewell and welcome

We are so sad that Mrs Lorna Griss, our EAL teacher/coordinator (English Additional Language) is leaving us. We thank you for all your hard work and contributions to our program and the school community for the last 2 years.  We hope you have a good break and enjoy your trip with your family to your home country, the United Kingdom. You will be missed a lot by us and our students.

We are very fortunate that we have Ms Brigitte Podesser, who will be our EAL teacher and also in charge of our English Language Centre /ILC. Ms Podesser met our students yesterday and we look forward to working together.

2022 was a very rewarding year and 2023 will be even more exciting! Wishing you all Merry Christmas and a Happy 2023.
