Year 3 Camp

Reports from Year 3 Camp Toolangi are positive, with students, staff and parent helpers engaging in their first fun-filled day of activities yesterday!

As always, thank you to our staff and the volunteers for stepping away from their own lives to give our students such a fulfilling experience.

Principal for a Day!

Last week I was replaced as Principal by MMP students, Isabelle and Jason who were promoted by teacher, Marc Purcell following their outstanding commitment to improvement in their mathematics learning.

The Principals performed the job wonderfully well, calling a wet day timetable and supporting students at lunch. They also left a few suggestions for me upon my reappointment!  We’ll see how we go installing a mini golf course, however, I’m not sure we’ll be able to install a swimming pool!

Congratulations Noreen!

Our school’s PE teacher was honoured at the School Sport Australia Track and Field Championships on November 18th, with the Victorian team farewelling Noreen after faithfully and passionately leading the team for the last 27 years!

Noreen’s legacy will be preserved with the ‘Noreen McMenaman Award’, presented at the conclusion of the Championships to an athlete who displays the same values as Noreen:  passion, dedication, commitment and friendship to others.

Well done Noreen!

Another Amazing Effort from CHAPS

Our congratulations and thanks once again to CHAPS for yet another magnificent BBQ fundraiser at last Saturday's State Election.  Special thanks to Danielle and Nikky for yet again "going above and beyond" to organise, facilitate and lead the charge on the day.  To the volunteers who assisted with cooking and sales, staff and students are grateful for your efforts on behalf of our school.  Those efforts yielded over $2.220 - a fantastic result yet again!
