Reflection - 2022 eLeaders Program
It was an exciting year for our eLeaders in 2022, with the launch of the program at Bentleigh East Campus, and a return to face-to-face activities at the Mentone campus.
Video conferencing allowed meetings and online competitions to happen simultaneously at both Campuses. In 2022, have been approximately sixty eLeaders, supporting the use of devices and software in classrooms across both Campuses.
Our eLeaders ensured that everyone at St Bede’s was able to gain the most from our ICT infrastructure. Students in the program also had the opportunity to experience a wide range of emerging technologies during our Weekly Activity Meetings.
Activities eLeaders have had the opportunity to be involved in programming flying drones, experiencing Virtual Reality, a Robocode coding competition, pulling apart desktop and laptop computers, Minecraft MAD day competitions, and much more. The skills our eLeaders are acquiring, and the feedback they provide, will lead to more effective use of ICT at the College in the future.

Thank you very much to the IT Support staff who have supported the eLeader program, in particular Charlie O’Neill and Peter Russell.
We cannot wait to see where the program takes us this year!
