Grade 6 Graduation

I would like to congratulate Darcie and Sonny for bravely speaking at the Grade 6 graduation last night. The children spoke about the school buddy program and specifically about their experiences with their Grade 6 buddies. They read their speeches with confidence in front of a full theatre of guests. Many families commented on how wonderful they were and I was so proud of them both. Well done!

I'd also like to thank all of the students in Prep C for the effort they put into the preparations for the Grade 6 graduation evening. The children made lovely placemats, which included a letter to their buddies. These were used to decorate the tables at the Grade 6 graduation dinner. Prep C also made bags for their buddies' certificates which were presented to the Grade 6s on stage. Thank you Preps, your buddies enjoyed your gifts!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

In amongst free choice writing, reader's workshop, handwriting practice and maths, Prep C have been enjoying the build up to Christmas. We have made more decorations for our tree, a reindeer,  cute elves and also created a Santa in Art with Mrs Clarke.

Have a wonderful school holiday break, enjoy the festive season and I'll see everyone in 2023!
