Australian Football Showcase Day

On Sunday 21st of November, 220 of the best footballers from around the state, gathered for the first ever Australian Football Showcase Day, at Sandringham Football Club. This event saw the best boys and girls at Under 12 and Under 15 level, provided the opportunity to showcase their skills. This event was held in place of the Australian Football Championships, which have been unable to be held for the past two years, in event of COVID. As part of this day, the first ever Victorian 12 years and under Girls Football team, took the field to represent the Big V. Malvern Primary was extremely well represented, with both Liv K and Charlotte E, being selected to represent Victoria, with Charlotte named captain of the Victorian White team.

As the Team Manager of this group, I wanted to write and tell the Malvern Primary School community how proud we should be of both the girls, representing the school extremely well and I look forward to many more girls from MPS, following in their footsteps in the future.
