FRIAR'S TUCKSHOP
Remember that a brain works better with breakfast!!
Thank you to all of the wonderful St Nicholas School families for your ongoing support of Friar's Tuckshop. Whether it be ordering or volunteering .... thank you!
It has been a busy and very different year in the canteen and we thank you for your patience at times with the lack of stock due to freight difficulties.
This year we will endeavour to stay open right up until the end of the term, Wednesday, 15 December 2021. Please keep in mind that stock will be quite limited and unpredictable so please ask your child to be patient and 'go with the flow'.
Mrs Murdoch and I bid a heartfelt goodbye to Mrs Kirsty Brown (Emily - Year 6) who for a number of years has always stepped up and helped at the canteen with little or no notice. I wish her and her girls all the the very best for the future.
Thank you to all the volunteers throughout this crazy year. Hopefully, next year, we can get back to some sort of normality.
Merry Christmas to all. Have a safe and happy New Year.
God bless,
Mrs Colleen Harding and Mrs Helen Murdoch

Please be patient as some items on our menu may not be in stock due to delivery delays caused by COVID restrictions in Sydney. We do try to match as close as possible, but some items may 'come and go' from the QKR App. Thank you for your ongoing support.
No parent helpers in Friar's Tuckshop until further notice.
We understand that errors can be made when placing orders and lunches can sometimes inadvertently be ordered for an incorrect day without a parent realising. In these cases if your child does not have lunch as they thought they were due a lunch order the canteen will do their best to fulfill the order and send a reimbursement notice home with your child. These must be paid though QKR using the "Payment of Accounts" options. The original order will be given to the child on the actual day it was booked unless you contact the Canteen by 9.00am that day to cancel it. Payment of the original order does not negate the need to pay a reimbursement note UNLESS the Canteen is notified to cancel the order that was made in error.
We have been experiencing a high number of children presenting to school without having had breakfast and also children who are expecting lunch orders but their order has been made for a different day. Is it important that your child/ren are set up for the day with a good breakfast. While we understand that errors can be made when placing orders we would be grateful if parents could check over orders when inputting them.
A reminder that if your child is absent and the canteen isn't notified by 9.00am, all hot food, cold wraps and sandwiches will have to be forfeited. Only cold drinks, packaged goods and icypoles can be saved and will be given to children on their return to school.
