Grade Six

GRADE 6 NEWSLETTER ARTICLE

For all the Grade 6s, this year has been different with remote learning and COVID-19, but that will not stop us from missing the Oatlands community. This year we have all enjoyed the Oatlands Unite Dance Production which was not so long ago. We have also had Coach Approach where we have competed in sports such as taekwondo, ultimate frisbee, handball, lacrosse and we also learnt that working together in sports is important. On Wednesday the 10th of December we will be going bowling and will also get to go to McDonalds, which is something all of us grade sixers are looking forward to. We have also been working on our graduation bears which is something we’d all keep as a memory of this beloved school. We will also be going on an exciting scavenger hunt around the school on Friday and then on Monday the 14th December we will have our graduation night. The day after that we’ll have our graduation lunch. Overall, this year for us Grade 6 students has been different and challenging, but we all got through it with a smile on our faces, which we as the Oatlands community know is a big achievement. A big thank you to all our teachers, staff, and the whole school community for guiding us through this tough year and when we leave will remember this team.
