Smart Cities - After School Program

Our Smart Cities after school program is kicking off in week 3 of term 1 and running for the entire school year. It is a great opportunity for students to engage with their local community and learn a bit of technology along the way. Please see attached the Smart Cities poster and consent form for further details on the program. If possible please distribute these details to parents/guardians/students so they can secure their place within this amazing program!

OSCH

We know how challenging last year has been for everyone and we have all been through a very stressful period. It is with your help we were able to weather the storm, but the industry is still experiencing hardship and attendance in our OSHC services have consistently remained well below pre-COVID-19 levels.  COVID-19 has had a long-term impact on our industry, and we ask for your help one more time to get children back to OSHC.

Returning to Camp Australia in 2021 is no longer just about when parents need us, but it’s more about children needing us. We surveyed over 1,000 children at the end of last year and asked them what they are looking forward to in 2021. Understandably, they want to spend more time with their friends and meeting new ones, they want to get back to experiencing new and exciting things.  And this is where Your OSHC plays a big part in helping families get back to a new kind of normal and for children to have time to reconnect with their friends, learn and grow outside of school time.

As we start Term 1, we also want to ensure that new families starting school this year know that we’re here to help them and their children settle into school. Our teams have been busy designing the perfect program to kick off the new year, focused on welcoming children into service and strengthening friendships.

To make the process easier for these families, and to answer any questions they may have about OSHC, we are also hosting free virtual parent information sessions.
