Before and After Care Programs
Bookings now open for 2021
Families can prepare for the new school year as OSHC bookings for 2021 are now open. Registration is free for families interested in attending our care – and we recommend that all families register so that they can access care whenever they need it. They simply have to log in and register through our Parent Portal and start booking.
As we operate a childcare service governed by the Education and Care National Law and Regulations, we can only operate our services within Educator to child ratios and licensed space. So, we recommend families to book in advance to secure their children’s spot. This also helps gives us time to staff and support our service to meet the needs of the children in our care.
Message from Camp Australia
Camp Australia's journey of continuous improvement For over 30 years, Camp Australia has set out to provide safe, quality and compliant care for children with a promise of ‘Making Kids Smile’. But over the last decade, we grew quickly and went through a period of substantial change that led to some growing pains. This meant we did not always meet the standards and expectations our communities rightfully expected of us. Nor did we meet our own expectations. We have taken the time to listen, learn and reflect and we identified where improvements could be made. As a result, over the past 18 months we have embarked on a journey to improve the quality and consistency of our service offering, driven by our strategic plan launched last year. We have invested significantly in our people, processes and systems to achieve this end. Now we have some of the strongest policies, processes and internal quality auditing in the sector. We have dedicated independent compliance, quality assurance and training teams to constantly audit and embed best practice in our services. We have a much more robust and focused approach to programming to ensure children’s experiences are a key focus in every service. The good news is that we are already seeing the positive impact of our change in feedback from employees, parents, principals and regulators. However, this is just the beginning as continuous improvement is not a destination, it is a journey. Some of our key achievements include:

Introducing the updated Camp Australia logo, our new colours, and our brand promise of Guiding Children’s Growth To mirror these changes, we felt it was the right time to refresh our brand to reflect the growth of our organisation and better articulate our renewed purpose. We want you to see us as we are now, not as we once were. We have always put children first - their safety and enjoyment. But now we are extending our focus through our programs to support children’s growth in confidence and resilience, linked to learning outcomes. This is what it means to Guide Children’s Growth.
With Camp Australia's new brand, they will be launching an improved Parent Portal “mobile app” on December 9th, which will transform the way families access care. |
