Beyond the Gates

Dear friends, dancers, lovers, and supporters of Italian traditions in Melbourne,

I am very excited to share with you the upcoming  one-day event filled with Southern Italian music, dance, and instructional workshops (singing, music, and dance), with local and international acts.

The festival will take place on Sunday 20th of November in the beautiful setting of Edwardes Lake park, in Reservoir. It's a free event and does not require any booking.

As part of the Italian work this term, our amazing students at CNPS have been exploring Southern Italian dancing. They have also created their own dance with their peers and uploaded on Seesaw.

I hope to see you on the day for some dancing, flat shoes or no shoes always a good idea.

National Geographic Photographer Jason Edwards 

Melbourne based National Geographic Photographer Jason Edwards is an ex Lee St parent and has generously donated his amazing photos to us over the years, including in the recent silent auction.
