Year 9 News

We are almost there Year 9s!

This week we will finish on Thursday and that will be the end of all classes and assessments for 2022. 

Hopefully, the next two weeks of Transition will be an exciting time for you all to meet your teachers and classmates for 2023.   We will officially end on a high note with the entire Year 9 cohort heading off to Philip Island to celebrate the end of your three years in junior school!

By now, you may have heard that Mr Blennerhassett, better known to the Macedon students as ‘Mr B’ will be leaving Vermont Secondary College at the end of the year. Maybe, over the next couple of weeks, could we encourage you to drop by our office to say your farewells to Mr B.

Mr Healey and Ms Le will miss Mr Blennerhassett dearly.  On behalf of the Year 9 cohort, we would like to wish Mr B all the best for next year at his new school, it will be closer to home therefore, he will be able to spend more time with his wife and more time dedicated to golf (so I was told).
