Celebrating Success

Congratulations to Chloe H whose Peace Poster entry has won the District Final and will now go on for judging at the multi district level which will be held early December.

Katherine Parzis, the District 201V5 Lions International Peace Poster Essay Contest Coordinator wrote

Chloe H

“Again, all the best to Chloe, I really think that it is an amazing standard and I really think that she has a chance as a National Peace Poster Winner at the Judging event in December at the Brisbane Lions Office and may I say if the National winner maybe has a great chance at the International Judging event next year at the Lions International United Nations Day I think that is being held in Chicago, Feb or March next year in 2023.”

Olin Y

Congratulations also go to OlinY whose Peace Poster entry won the people’s choice award chosen from sixteen entries.

All the Peace Posters were amazing and of a high standard, the Judges at the event were very impressed by the Students Peace Posters for the Competition. This year's theme was Lead with Compassion.

Year 9 - Design and Technology - Materials

Just in case you missed these rings that we on display at our schools annual exhibition ‘Vision’, here they are!

These rings were designed and made by Year 9's in ‘Design and Technologies – Materials’ using brass, copper and nickel silver.

Students learnt various techniques to manipulate the metal to achieve their designs and final product.

Below are some examples of our student's work.
