Homestay Recruitment

Welcome an international student into your home! 

Vermont Secondary College’s International Student Program is looking for applications to participate in our homestay program. We are looking for temporary homestays for the summer holidays and more long term homestays moving into 2023. In addition, we are also looking for emergency homestays who would provide short-term accommodation in emergency situations or if the student's current accommodation is unavailable for a short period of time.

At Vermont Secondary College, we only have a small number of students who require homestay accommodation.  A homestay not only provides these students with a safe and welcoming place to stay for the duration of their studies (this is often two or more years), but also form an integral part of their support system while they are living away from their family.  In return, you gain another member of your family and some compensation of living costs.

Being a homestay provider is a big commitment, but if you have a spare bedroom and a willingness to be a part of our program, we would like to hear from you!
