Student Achievements

Geography Teachers Association of SA Photography Competition

A big congratulations to Year 8 student Charlotte Dahlenburg for taking out first prize in the Geography Teachers Association of SA Photography Competition! There were only 14 finalists selected from across the state, two from Endeavour College with Madison Taylor's work also on display.

Entries were judged by a panel of Geography and Photography specialists, including award-winning professional photographer David Mariuz, who captured iconic images that were showcased around Australia and the world during the Kangaroo Island bushfires.

The criteria in which the photographs were judged was the following:

Relevance: does the photo illustrate liveability?

Originality: is the photo unusual or thoughtful?

Composition: does the photo provide a clear perspective?

What a wonderful opportunity and a huge accomplishment for both students!

Once Upon a Time

Year 12 Visual Art and Creative Design students recently welcomed family and friends to the opening of their Art Show, Once Upon a Time. With musical entertainment from senior vocalists and catering of desserts from senior Food Technology students, it was a spectacular night. The feature of the evening, however, was definitely the final artworks on display highlighting the immense talent and dedication within the group.

Congratulations to both senior Art and Design students and the Art and Design Faculty.

All that hard work certainly paid off!
