Student Leadership 2023

Recently many Year 11 students applied for College Captain positions for 2023. We would like to acknowledge all the applicants for showing great courage, conviction and commitment by submitting the application, participating in the interview process and presenting their speech to the College cohort. Their passion to serve the College as a leader was confidently and clearly expressed throughout the process. The students and staff of Endeavour College will be blessed to have such inspiring and diverse leadership in 2023.

Now that the leadership of the College has been ceremoniously passed to the Year 11s at the Year 12 Final Assembly, we would like to congratulate the following students for their successful appointments to the Student Executive.

College Captains:

Fatima Hussein and Jesse Isaac

Student Action Team Captains:

Charity and Service Enrichment – Sienna Edwards

Media, Communication and Event Promotion – Cameron Preiss

Spiritual and Community Building – Isabella Marafioti

Year 11 students have also submitted applications for co-curricular and Village leadership positions. All of these leadership positions provide important opportunities for student agency in an area of passion. Students can have great impact by assuming more responsibility and sharing their gifts and talents. We look forward to announcing these leaders in the next few weeks.

It is important to remember, however, that all students are role models, can have influence and inspire others but it is often the Year 12 cohort who have the greatest impact on the College culture. This is very true for students who are successful in attaining formal positions but also for the entire cohort who are encouraged to embrace the inherent leadership of being a Year 12 student and excel throughout the year to leave a positive and lasting impression.
