Each year level was responsible for creating, designing and running an activity or stall. Whack a wombat and Grace's Super Scooper at the Year 3 side show alley were popular examples, ‘I worked with my friends Yuna, Kevin and Harper R to make the Whack a Wombat in class’, explained Ellie, ‘when the wombat pops out of the burrow, you have to hit it with the pool noodle’. The Year 4 plant stall was a sell-out, the Preps fairy floss stall had long lines throughout the event despite having four machines on the go. The Year 5 handmade stall featured everything from badge making to handmade candles and baked goods to Harry Potter wands.
