TCC News

Welcome to Term 3
We welcomed students back to the College on Monday. We hope families have had some rest and recharged over the school holidays. Staff have been busy working on reports over the break and these will be emailed soon.
College Improvements
We have been fortunate to have many improvements occurring at the College, including the outdoor learning area, painting, progression of the Primary Precinct Building, fencing and landscaping.
Much of the work is part of an eight-year infrastructure maintenance plan, approved by the College Board ensuring we do not have a maintenance liability in the future.
Changes to the car park were a condition of our Development Application to Council. The improvements to Kiss and Drop and the car park flow are indeed a blessing. We look forward to when parents may again visit and enjoy all the improvements to our beautiful College grounds.
Congratulations to our Newly Weds
Over the last few weeks two of our staff celebrated their marriages. On 27th June, Amanda from the College's Education Support Centre married Codan in a small ceremony at a family property at Coomba. They shared the day with close family and friends, those unable to attend watched on via Zoom.
On Saturday 4th July our Year 3/4 teacher Phoebe married Jake in a small ceremony held at her family's property in Port Macquarie, with close family and friends. In Phoebe's words "The weather was just beautiful all day and neither Jake or myself could stop smiling all day. Overall we are so thankful for all the blessings of a very special day."
Thank you for your co-operation
As COVID -19 restrictions become a part of our every day, we would like to thank our community for complying with the current limitations. However we do not want this to inhibit your communication with us. Should you need any assistance please do not hesitate to phone or email the College .
Showing initiative and having a plan
Chloe Bisley from Year 9 recently had a chat on air with radio personality John Laws. Mr Laws was very impressed with Chloe, as she demonstrated her initiative with the development of her own cattle stud, as well as showing old fashioned good manners.
Good on you Chloe !
Visual Arts needs rusty objects and sauce bottles
Our Visual Arts staff will be leading students in some creations that require rusty bits and pieces and clean empty sauce bottles. If you have any small rusty items such as copper pennies, paper clips, bottle tops, crooked nails, washers and empty sauce squeeze bottles please send them into the College with your student.
