Kitchen Operations

Photographed are Year 11 and 12 Jackson students participating in the certificate 2, Kitchen Operations. This Vocational & Educational Training (VET) course operates one day a week throughout the year in a well-equipped industrial kitchen in South Melbourne.

Kitchen Operations students study the occupational health and safety of food handling. They also learn to cook simple dishes and work effectively with others in a commercial kitchen.
