All information related to COVID-19 and the School's actions in relation to this have been placed in a special newsletter that is being updated 'live'.  Please click here to access.

This Friday (31st July) is BOOM DAY– FOOTY JUMPER FRIDAY.

All Students are invited to show their support for their favourite team, no matter what sport it is (AFL, NBA, NRL, A League) by wearing their teams Jumper/Jersey.

An added challenge for the day will be to send through a photo to events@bhcs.vic.edu.au of them either:

- performing a skill in their top, or

- celebrating their team winning a game

Parent-Teacher Interviews

A big thank you to all our parents and carers who got on board with our Parent-Teacher Interviews Online. We trust the process went smoothly for you, and you enjoyed the luxury of being in your own home and not wandering around our classrooms!

If you were not able to make any appointments, but wish to discuss something with your child's class teacher, please feel free to email them to organise a mutually convenient time.

Senior Pathways Information

Our Pathways Information Night gives families insight into Years 11 and 12, and the learning pathways open to students in these levels. This year due to COVID-19, the information normally shared on this night has been placed in a virtual environment and can be accessed here.

Subject selection for 2021 for Years 11 and 12 will need to be completed on Caremonkey/Operoo. This has been sent home to all families. The eform will need to be completed by the parent, together with the student, as it will require both signatures.

VCE subjects are not allocated on a first come, first serve basis, therefore we encourage you to take your time considering the options before completing this form.

Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact the Head of VCE & VCAL, Vicky Fraanje.

Flexibuzz/Flexischools

A friendly reminder that Flexibuzz has now moved over to Flexischools. If you have not yet downloaded the Flexischools app, we strongly encourage you to do so. This is an important communication tool for families to receive reminders, emergency updates, send absence notifications, and more.

For those already registered and using Flexibuzz, you should have received an email from Flexischools to transfer your account. You will need to follow the link in the email to complete the registration and set a new password. If you are not yet using Flexischools, we strongly encourage you to download the app and register.

Caremonkey is rebranding to 'OPEROO'

CareMonkey is the database we use for student permissions – eg camps, excursions, events.

We have recently been informed that CareMonkey is rebranding as “Operoo”.

Effective the week beginning Monday 3 August, email and sms notifications sent from the system will start appearing under the name “Operoo” (not CareMonkey).  Additionally should you visit the CareMonkey website, you will be automatically redirected to the new www.Operoo.com.au  website.

What to you need to do?

Download the new Operoo app from your app store.  This will be available soon.  Please note the CareMonkey app will continue to work as normal in the meantime.

We understand that app changes at this time are not ideal, but we thank you for your continued support.
