On August 17th Indonesians celebrate Independence Day. VILTA (Victoria Indonesian Language Teachers Association) organised a poster competition this year for Yrs 5-8.

One popular game amongst children is' Lomba makan Kerupuk'. Kerupuk (crackers) are hung on a string and players attempt to eat it with their hands behind their back. It's a lot of fun!
