From the "Remote Classroom"

Each Wednesday is ‘Discovery Day’ in Team 5-6, which sees students working independently on a choice of hands on STEM based, curriculum linked, projects.  Students are usually given two tasks to choose from and follow a design process to plan, create and test their creation.   On Wednesday 29th July they could either:

  1. Design and construct a boat that could carry as many coins as possible, using a list of materials.  They then had to test their construction.
  2. Build a maze using sticks. It had to allow a mini plastic figure to move through the maze from start to finish.
