Cake Raffle

Our Cake Raffle returns on each Friday in terms 2 and 3. Raffle tickets will be on sale tomorrow for 50 cents each. Winners are announced every Friday before the end of the day. Thank you to all the parents who have volunteered to bake/donate a cake or biscuits. There are still spots available in for term 2 and term 3 if you would like to donate. A roster is in the office if you would like to add your name. If you are unable to come into the office, please let the office know and they will note your name on the roster.

Hot Dog Day  - Wednesday 18th May

 We will be holding a hot dog day on Wednesday 18th May. A form will be sent home on Monday. $5 will include a cinnamon donut for morning snack and a hot dog at lunch. Please return payment, in an envelope marked with your child’s name and class, to the office by Tuesday 17th May or alternatively you can pay via CDFPay using the QR Code below. If you are able to assist on the day, we require helpers from 12.00pm – 2.00pm. Please return the slip at the bottom of the hot dog form if you can assist.

Election Day  - Saturday 21st May 

On Saturday 21st May, our school is hosting the Federal Election polling booths in our school hall. On the day we will be cooking egg and bacon rolls early in the morning and then a sausage sizzle for the remainder of the day. We will also be holding a Cake Stall and serving coffee/tea. We will be sending home a paper plate next week. We would appreciate if you would kindly donate a plate of biscuits, slices or cakes. Please keep in mind no nuts, fresh cream or custard. Please bring your donation to the school office on Friday 20th May or the morning of Saturday 21st May. We would also appreciate if you may be able to spare a couple of hours to volunteer to cook, serve or sell at the stall. We will have a roster up in the office in the next week. Roster is in 2 hour blocks commencing at 8am. If you would like to volunteer, but are unable to come into the school, please call the office and they will note your name on the roster. (Please note that parent helpers for this day do not require to be triple vaxed as they are not working directly with children)

Trivia Night  - Friday 3rd June 

Please save the NEW date...... The original date for the Parents Association Trivia Night was set for 20th May however, with the hall being required for the upcoming election, the Trivia Night has now been confirmed for Friday 3rd June. More details to follow.

Scholastic Book Club

A Scholastic Book Club catalogue was sent home last week.  If you are interested in purchasing any books, please return your order form and payment to the office by tomorrow Friday 6th May.  Alternatively, you can pay via credit card through the Book Club Loop at https://mybookclubs.scholastic.com.au/parent/Login.aspx

Mother's Day Stall

Thank you to all the wonderful parents who assisted in selling gifts at the Mother’s Day Stall yesterday.  We hope you all enjoy your special gifts chosen by your children.  Thank you to Jess Brown and Melea Stone for planning, purchasing and organising all the gifts and raffle hampers.  Thank you also goes to Tarantino’s Pizza (Fornaro family) in Oakleigh East and the Mora-Rind Family for generously donating vouchers and items for the raffle hampers.

Parents Association Meeting

The next Parents Association meeting will be held next Tuesday 10th May at 7.00pm in the staff room.  All welcome to attend.
