Volunteer Training

While the below information has been in the newsletter for this term.  We are now adding the final step to help complete the training cycle.

I will be offering an online option for the 'face-to-face' component, replacing the in-house training workshop.

Please email your interest for one of the following times and I will send you a link to the meeting the day before.

Thursday 7th April at 2:00pm

Please return these forms, or contact the office if you are able to assist.

Growing Faith at Home

This week’s GFH resource is titled ‘The Greatest Gift’. Mary of Bethany(sister to Martha and Lazarus) offered Jesus a most unusual gift, expensive perfume which she poured on his feet! Why do you think she did this? What is the best gift you have ever received? What gift would you like to give to Jesus today? The Good Shepherd church is presenting a range of dramas at the moment that offer reflections of people who encountered Jesus in the lead up to his death and resurrection. Mary of Bethany was featured earlier this month. If you would like a look, check out the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church website. Click on the ‘Listen’ icon where the video archives are stored. Scroll down to the Mary (sister of Lazarus) video on March 13. Her drama begins around the 3 minute mark. For more Easter crafts at home, you might like to make a Holy Week Diorama. God bless you week!

Little Lambs Playgroup

Our community values opportunities to connect with families with little ones. Sharing time together, chatting over a coffee as little ones play is its own reward. Creating an environment where relationships can be formed and nurtured is a wonderful area of connection and care! We are still looking for people who might be interested in serving in this way.  If this is something you feel led to be a part of, I would love to hear from you. There are plenty of resources ready to go thanks to the creativity, generosity and love of previous Little Lambs team leaders. Please contact me via email at georgie.schuster@paravista.org.au or chat with me sometime about this valuable opportunity.

Will keep you posted on Little Lamb’s next chapter. Watch this space!
