Duke of Edinburgh Award Camp

The Year 11 and Year 12 students successfully survived the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Adventurous Journey camping component of the Award. Students challenged themselves, moved out of their comfort zone and completed all the camp activities at the Northern Strathbogie Ranges last week. A huge thank you to Ms Lisa Mililli and Mr Steve Rogers for running the camp along with Auscamp.

VCAL Make-up for Year 10 Media 

Last week Taylah G and Emily N ran a ‘Horror themed’ makeup class with Year 10 Media. The Year 10 students are currently in the process of making their own horror productions for a horror festival later in the year. After showing examples of their own special effects work, Taylah and Emily took the Year 10 class through the best way to apply bruises, cuts and zombie makeup and had the students enthralled by the process the whole time. The girls have been invited back to run more classes after such a successful and engaging event. Well done girls!
