Term 1 Policy Updates

In Term 1, 2022 a couple of important changes have been made to our policies and procedures as a result of new legislative requirements. Please read on to familiarise yourself with these changes.

Disability Standards

Our Disability Standards policy is now publicly available. You can access it via the College website.

Child Safety

Child Safety is everyone’s responsibility. 

On Friday 1 July 2022 new child safe standards will take effect. As a result, our child safe policies on the College website will be updated accordingly. This includes:

• Child Safe Policy
• Child Safety Code of Conduct
• Child Safety Responsibilities
• Reporting and Responding to Child Safety Concerns

New versions will soon replace the current ones, so be sure to keep a look out for these.

Please remember, should you see or hear something untoward, it is important that you report it immediately. Our Reporting and Responding to Child Safety Concerns policy and procedure details what avenues you can take. Rest assured our staff members are fully trained on how to identify and respond appropriately to child safety concerns.
