My Apologies

Last weekend I was cleaning  my room like a good little boy and found a whole bundle of unopened cards. The cards were written to me by our students last year wishing me a Merry Christmas and a happy birthday (for 27th December).  They were passed onto me at a time when I was undergoing treatment and hence were put into the 'secret cupboard' that we all seem to have. The cards were absolutely beautiful and testament to why we love the job we do. Anyway I apologized to the children at Monday's Assembly and thanked them again for their support and kind words. So that brings the count up to 500+ cards I have received over the journey to date and indicated why I should probably clean my room more often :)

100 Days of School

Congratulations to our beautiful Prep students who celebrated 100 Days of School last week. It has been wonderful to see the progress they have all made during the year:

they have grown taller and more confident

they have learned the school rules

and they are proud to say they are 100 days smarter!!

We are all so proud of you Prep N and Prep G. Good luck for the next 100 days!

Seddon Community Bank School Banking

Meeting with Teachers

Could I please remind everyone that while our teachers enjoy and welcome the opportunity to interact with parents before school, should parents have a concerning matter that needs to be addressed, an appointment needs to made. The time immediately before school in the openness of our learning environments is not an appropriate moment for such matters. By booking an appointment, teachers will be able to give the time required to address concerns in a private manner.

Corpus Christi School App

If you haven't already done so, please install our new Corpus Christi School App which is available for both Android and iPhone users. This app will allow you to receive notifications from the school regarding upcoming events, reminders and/or important notices and alerts. Parents are also encouraged to use the app to lodge their child's absences . This can be done through the Absentee form available under the “more” button of the App's menu bar. Please note that while the absentee function on the old app seems to still work, this will cease completely once our subscription to the old platform ceases.

Make sure you select your child's year level under the “settings” option, so you receive notifications pertinent to your child and make sure you also select the whole school. Please note that you must uninstall the old app (if you have it) in order to install the new one.

Have a wonderful week

God bless
