OCP School Captains Meet the Mayor!

My heart was beating super fast as we walked into the Council building. I saw about 16 different schools and 40 people in the room. When I sat down I didn't feel so nervous because we were playing ice-breaker games and talking with the Mayor. We spent some time planning the Leadership Conference for our Council. Next time we are going to learn more about public speaking.  Alexis

Last Wednesday, in the Council building, we had the opportunity to learn more about and meet the Mayor, Cr Graeme Moore. We learnt about what he does and had the chance to take pictures with him. We also met other school captains and got to know them too.  Lincoln

2019 Halogen Young Leaders Day

Student leaders from both Heritage College Primary campuses travelled into Melbourne last Monday to attend the Halogen Young Leaders Day Conference.

After an adventurous journey into the city via train, students settled in for a highly engaging and inspiring day at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre.

Speakers challenged students to set big goals, get out of their comfort zone, to believe in their dreams and work hard toward their goals.

Book Fair

ANZAC Appeal

It is such a privilege to live in Australia where we are free.

In the lead up to ANZAC day we will again be participating in and supporting the ANZAC Day appeal. All proceeds go to the ANZAC Appeal and are then used to support veterans and their families.

Thank you in advance for your support of this appeal. Students and parents can purchase the ANZAC Appeal pins or wrist bands from the Officer Campus Reception. Items range from $2 - $5. A donation tin is also at the office for any donations you may be willing to make.
