PB4L Report

Week 8

”Tank ou mumma” (thank you mumma) is Zayn’s favourite new sentence lately and for me it’s the cutest thing I have ever heard. Zayn didn’t just start saying this by himself, I had to go through weeks of “What do you say?” when I or anyone else would give or do something for him.

This is life.  We, us teachers, as well as you the parents, are here to teach our children how to behave, love, learn, think and eventually lead others in this world.

How do we teach children to serve in a world of ‘me first’? When we teach our children to put others first are we raising weak children? I believe not.

Heritage College prides ourselves in the service projects we contribute to and at the moment the primary school at Narre Warren South is collecting donations to go towards the Fire and Drought Relief. The exciting thing about this is for every $1 donation you get to have a guess how many jellybeans are in the jar. So pop down to the NWS Campus to put in your guess and help us raise money towards a good cause.
