A big thank you from the Parents and Friends Team!
Tuesdays Open Classrooms was a wonderful event for parents, students, teachers and staff. A big ‘Thank you’ goes to TheirCare for kindly supplying the sausages and bread to make the BBQ free for all of our school community. Thanks also to the regional manager of TheirCare for giving up her time to assist on the BBQ and setup. Many hands make light work and her presence was appreciated by the hardworking BBQ team. The BBQ team included members of the Parents and Friends Committee, Class Liaisons and parent helpers who gave up their time and effort to make the BBQ possible, tackling the windy weather head-on (literally!). Their commitment to lend a helping hand made an event like this possible. It was also great to see some new parents of the school joining on the BBQ’s and setup. The Parents and Friends Team want to express our heartfelt thanks to all those that assisted on the day, whether they helped out for 30mins or 3 hours. Every helping hand made the task easier and more enjoyable for everyone. It created new friendships within our school community, and allowed the P+F members a chance to see our children's classrooms as well, for which we are grateful. It just shows there are many ways people can get involved at our school to show kindness and support for each other. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who gave it a go and got involved in the BBQ.

Kalinda Colour Explosion
There is a prize for every student who raises just $10 for our school! Each donation helps fundraisers achieve up to 15 awesome prizes! And the funds we raise will go towards new playground equipment for our school!!
Students yet to create their online fundraising profile can do so by heading to www.australianfundraising.com.au. You can also follow the instructions in your child’s sponsorship booklet that went home last week. This is a cashless fundraiser. So head to the website to do online donations to your child’s profile page. You have to be in it to win it!
Then, share your page with friends and family via social media, email, or text! Your fundraising profile can’t be searched via Google or any other platform – it can ONLY be accessed by the share feature. This means it’s cyber-safe! So don’t wait! Start sharing today!
This is all part of the Colour Explosion Fun Run which will happen on Thursday, March 30th.
All students will need to wear a WHITE T-SHIRT for the color run day.
Parents are welcome to attend and volunteer for this event and more details will come soon. All volunteers will need a current WWCC to assist.

Icy Pole Fridays will continue until 31st March.
All purchases are through Qkr!, so please jump on each week and shout your kids a frozen treat.
AGM
There will be a Parents & Friends Committee AGM held on 15th March, 7pm.
It will be held at the Croydon Hotel, Front Bar.
Everyone is welcome to attend and to nominate for a role on the Committee.
Roles and role descriptions will be posted in the next Newsletter for your consideration.
You are most welcome to attend if only you are curious.
We have a fantastic schedule of events across the year, and the team is very excited to share and engage with you over these….so please look out for further information as events are rolled out.
